27 May Museum

The building, which was converted into the 27 May Museum within the scope of the project and given to the Hasan Polatkan Sports Hall, was built as a sports hall when the island was under the administration of the Naval Forces Command.

The building, which was built as a sports hall during the Naval Forces Command period, was turned into a courtroom by the military junta that carried out the coup on May 27, 1960. It was the scene of a fictional court called the Supreme Court of Justice.
